FLORIDA DEMANDS REPRESENTATION
KEY ENDORSEMENTS

FDR is Proud to be receiving
endorsements from a variety of
individuals and organizations.

"I find it absolutely perplexing that our country has
sent 138,000 troops to democratize Iraq while the
voting rights of the citizens of Florida are again
(remember 2000) being discounted.  Maybe someone
should send in the Marines!"

Mayor Lois Frankel, West Palm Beach, FL

" It is just extremely important to have our Delegates
count. In all my years of voting in Florida there was a
record turn out. The voting system after years of
problems finally worked. The citizens are fed up and
want to be counted. To have our very own political
party disregard Florida again is a disgrace. I plan to
help in anyway to show this is what all Florida
Democrats want."

Mayor Joy Cooper, Hallandale Beach, FL

" James, I wanted to congratulate you for your efforts
to insure that Florida's votes are counted and our
delegates seated at the convention in August.  This
effort is not about who you support but about letting
the voices of all Floridians be heard.  Florida voters
turned out in higher numbers than any other state
and we should be heard."
Again, Thanks.

Anne Gannon
Palm Beach County Tax Collector
Former Representative Florida House District 86

"The voters of Florida turned out for the primary
election and feel that the vote should be counted.  I
fully support any effort that communicates AGAIN to
the DNC and to the two Presidential Primary
candidates that an agreement needs to made.  It is
our patriotic duty to vote, we did, now make it count."

Toni Molinaro - Chair of Pinellas County Democrats

If you are an elected official,
the head of an organization or other group who works to stop
disenfranchisement, and you believe that ALL American's should
have the right to have their votes count, we would be honored to
accept your endorsement.
Contact FDR at the link above.
"The Voting Rights Act of 1965 was designed to
ensure that every American has the right to vote.
People (African Americans, women & Immigrants)
fought and died for the RIGHT TO VOTE. For the
Democratic Party, to disenfranchise voters (during an
election year, when an African American and a
Woman are running for President), is a complete and
utter abrogation of the civil rights movement."

Freda Stevens
Candidate, State Representative District 100
